The Association of Professors of Cardiology was organized in 1990 to promote the professional development of its members, to lead the effort to train cardiovascular specialists, and to be a voice of academic cardiology.

Membership in APC is institutional, and includes any of the following at academic hospitals/medical centers:

Chief Cardiologists
-
Associate Chiefs
-
Clinical DIrectors
-
Service Line Directors, or
-
Equivalent of the listed above at your institution.
​
Your membership in APC gives you access to the work we do to advance the field of academic cardiology, including:

Panel discussions;
-
Member surveys;
-
Face-to-face peer meeting at AHA;
-
Face-to-face peer meeting at ACC;
-
Research on issues impacting academic cardiology; and,

much more.
